At Thai888 Foundation, our roots stem from Thai888 Law and Abroad Funerals Co. These sister companies provide comprehensive asset management services, including will drafting, funeral and cremation services, and legal support for executing your wishes in court. What distinguishes us is our commitment to empowering individuals through charitable initiatives while maintaining a grassroots approach with minimal overhead and administrative costs.
Our primary objective is to offer startup funding to farms, breaking the cycle of poverty and fostering self-sufficiency within six months. We provide financial assistance for essential resources such as fencing, water irrigation systems, animal housing, and solar rigs. Additionally, we support farmers with water pumps, feed, and marketing, enabling them to cultivate crops and raise livestock for sale in the market. Through reinvestment in new animals or crops, farmers can break free from poverty and achieve self-reliance.
Thai888 Foundation also assists underage beneficiaries named in wills by managing their assets for expenses such as school fees, uniforms, and food until they reach legal age. Moreover, we recognize the challenges faced by aging individuals, including health issues like Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s. By designating funds or assets to us, you ensure resources are available for your care when independent management becomes difficult.
We allocate funds towards healthcare, specialized care facilities, medical treatments, and essential services to enhance the quality of life for the elderly and their partners. About us
Located in Chonburi, Thailand, Thai888 Foundation is guided by a dedicated team of three board members. Among them is Kelvin Bamfield, an Australian expatriate who arrived in Thailand in 2000. After exploring various business ventures, he was encouraged by his partner, Ms. Timaporn Supaporn, to focus on law. However, navigating the legal landscape in Thailand posed challenges, requiring years for Kelvin to obtain a Work Permit to do legal work in the country.
Thai888 Law primarily catered to foreign clients, specializing in drafting wills and handling probate proceedings after death. Kelvin’s court appointments as Executor of the Will enabled him to engage in legal work. Over time, the scope of their services expanded internationally, as many retired foreigners held assets, pensions, and bank accounts overseas. Unraveling these complex affairs and distributing assets to beneficiaries necessitated expertise in both English and Thai languages to navigate government procedures and obtain necessary clearances for overseas probate proceedings.
Thai888 Law Abroad Funeral Thai888 Foundation
As demand grew, Thai888 Law expanded its services by registering Abroad Funerals to address various aspects of the end-of-life process previously outsourced. Recognizing the importance of streamlining operations and ensuring quality control, we transitioned these services in-house. This allowed us to better manage processes, personnel, and costs effectively. With an increasing workload in probate matters and occasional challenges in locating beneficiaries, we found ourselves directing assets to charitable organizations. However, as the volume of charitable work grew, we recognized the need for structured management of these funds and associated activities. Thus, Thai888 Foundation emerged to address this need. As of March 2024, following registration, we are in the process of establishing essential infrastructure including banking facilities, office space, a boardroom, email systems, and a website. This ongoing effort reflects our commitment to effectively managing charitable endeavors and fulfilling our mission. Thai888 Foundation is registered at office 10 of Thai888 Law and the office and board room is across the hall in office 13. Some have asked, as a new foundation how can we be sure that you will be around for a long time? No one knows this answer however I can say that we own our 3 offices, we have no debt, we have a lot of work both locally and internationally, Thai888 Law has been registered for over a decade now and has gone strength to strength and has been acknowledged and rewarded with Hall of Fame winners by being the top legal practice 2021, 2022, and 2023.
